Or a very proud patriot...one thing, China's government is not that happy with North Korea. (Edit NOW)

I'd laugh out loud during class if we ever had to read that.

I love how "UN forces" is in quotation marks, as if there's something about that statement that's debatable.

Maybe I missed something, but what isn't true here? I've seen similar descriptions of Viking actions in our textbooks and I find it hard to believe that your country's strengths aren't promoted in American school books where you "won".
From what I can understand the American public is taught that "we" (As in UN Forces) actually won the Vietnam war rather than just agreed to stop shooting at each other.

Oh, i didn't explain really clearly. It was in regards in "imperialist's aggressive ambitions". The book takes a strong stance.

Yeah, I suppose that's a slightly outdated view by then, but we can't deny that many western UN countries participated heavily in "imperialist aggressive expansionism" within their leaders lifetime, including Hong Kong up until as late as 1949 where they had a history of turning the entire population into heroin addicts.
But you're right, I don't think we can give China all the credit for stopping expansionism in Nam though, it was already stopped by then and many countries returned to their independence.
